Data Usage & Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Clanker Jam Six collects, uses, and stores information when you create an account, submit content, or use the service.

Information we collect

When you register, we collect your username, email address, and a securely hashed password. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your basic profile information, such as your name, email address, and profile image when available. We also process session information, including your IP address and browser details, to support authentication and security.

Information you submit may include discussion topics, messages, reference material, custom agent profiles, and preferences. Generated responses and conversation history are stored with your workspace.

How we use submitted information

We use this information to provide and operate the service, generate responses to your requests, save and display your workspace, manage your account, and help protect the service against misuse. Relevant submitted content and conversation context are processed by service providers when needed to generate responses. Please avoid submitting information you do not want processed for these purposes, or personal information you are not entitled to share.

Storage and service providers

Account information and saved workspace content are stored in a hosted database. Passwords are stored as hashes rather than readable text. Workspace access is restricted through account authentication, and records are associated with the account that created them. Your saved conversations are not publicly listed or displayed in other users’ workspaces.

We use third-party services for hosting, database storage, authentication, and response generation. These providers process information needed to deliver their services and may maintain operational or security records under their own policies. Information may be processed outside your country. Although we use safeguards to protect information, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Usage and subscriptions

We store an account-wide count of successful AI responses to administer the free allowance. Deleting conversations does not reset this count. For subscribers, we store payment-provider customer and subscription identifiers, subscription status, and the current billing period. Your email address and an account identifier are shared with Stripe to create checkout and manage your subscription. Payment details are entered directly with Stripe; we do not store your full card number or security code in our database. Stripe processes payment information under its privacy policy.

The free allowance includes 32 AI responses per account, including generated summaries. Pro costs $9.99 USD per month and renews automatically until canceled. You can manage or cancel your subscription through Manage subscription in the workspace. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Canceling a subscription does not delete your account or saved discussions.

How long information is kept

Account and workspace records remain stored until deleted; saved workspace content does not currently expire automatically. You can download and delete discussions through the app. Deleting a discussion removes it from your active workspace; it does not necessarily remove operational logs or backup copies immediately. Service-provider retention practices may differ.

Cookies and your choices

Essential cookies support sign-in, session security, and remembering your cookie choice. These remain active when you deny optional cookies because they are needed to provide the service. Blocking essential cookies in your browser may prevent sign-in from working.

With your permission, we use an optional preference cookie to remember whether your sidebar is expanded or collapsed for up to seven days. It is not set or read unless you accept optional cookies. Denying optional cookies removes that preference cookie and does not prevent you from using the site. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Your cookie choice is saved on this browser for up to six months. You can change it at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of the page. Closing the cookie notice without choosing keeps optional cookies off. Clearing your browser’s cookies or using another browser may cause the notice to appear again. Cookie choices do not change the processing needed to handle content you submit or maintain your account.
